And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever”. ~Psalm 73:24-26~
We’ve been so busy the past two weeks and I am once again touched by the generosity and compassion of others. We recently did some filming and will be releasing promotional and educational videos. There are also many events coming up, some radio work, some fundraisers, and much work at our emergency shelter. I pray for an end to the violence and a time we can focus our efforts and resources for a different need. I hate seeing such need for emergency shelter and the calls are endless. I’m so thankful that we can serve this need, but it would be such a blessing to see an end to domestic violence. I’ve felt such a burden this week to pray for our clients and their children and have spent a lot of time asking for their needs to be met, for them to be comforted and strengthened by their Heavenly Father.
As we approach Easter, let’s reflect on the love and mercy shown by Christ and embrace an attitude of service and love.
